Copenhagen 2025
Copenhagen, the capital city of the kingdom of Denmark since year 1417, is a city in which the modern developments of the 20th century, far from spoiling the atmosphere of history and old-world charm, have blended with the older buildings and monuments to form a thriving and harmonious environment. Over the past decade, Copenhagen has forced it’s position as the gastronomy capital of the North. In the latest edition, the Michelin Guide has awarded Copenhagen’s restaurants a total of 14 stars. Not only is that more than any other Scandinavian city, it is also more than other European cities such as Hamburg, Amsterdam and Vienna, Copenhagen also has more Michelin restaurants than Rome. The location of the city, with the international airport situated only 20 minutes away from the port and astride the trade routes between continental Europe and Scandinavia, has together with top-class gastronomy during the past years made Copenhagen a metropolis at the mouth of the Baltic. In Copenhagen harbor you can bring your boat alongside right in the middle of the City and enjoy all the spectacular sights, restaurants, museums and architectures a few steps away from the gangway.
